Bingkai Karya – Renowned for his soul-stirring lyrics and emotional vocals, Indonesian pop singer Fabio Asher has officially released his latest duet single titled “BISAKAH?”—a heartfelt collaboration with one of his long-time musical idols, Sammy Simorangkir. This duet not only bridges two generations of Indonesian male vocalists but also marks a deeply emotional moment where personal dreams merge with meaningful music.
“I’ve been a fan of Bang Sammy for a long time. I used to cover his songs all the time and even worked as a backing vocalist for some of his shows. Collaborating with him is literally a dream come true,” Fabio shared.
“BISAKAH?” tells the story of losing someone permanently—a departure with no return. The song poses a powerful question: “Can someone truly move on without the presence of a person who meant so much to them?” Fabio admitted that one of the biggest challenges in the creative process was aligning the melody and arrangement to match Sammy’s iconic vocal power. “But the first time Bang Sammy heard the demo, he gave an immediate positive response. That’s when I knew we had to sing this together,” Fabio added.
The song was crafted by key contributors such as Fabio’s lyric team Trakast, music arranger Yafi Aria (who has worked on many of Fabio’s previous projects), and vocal director Plato Ginting. It was polished by Ramadhan AI (vocal editor) and Eko Sulistiyo (mixing & mastering).
Accompanying the audio release is a moving music video that visually captures the emotional journey of someone coming to terms with the irreversible loss of a life partner. “BISAKAH?” marks a significant next step for Fabio following the release of his debut album “EVERLAST” last year and a string of hit singles such as “Bertahan Terluka,” “Rumah Singgah,” “Tanpa Rasa Bersalah,” and “Berharap Kau Kembali,” which topped both national and international music charts.
