Bingkai KaryaFoo Fighters are back with their latest single, “Asking for a Friend,” and the announcement of their 2026 North American Stadium Tour. Fans can expect additional dates to be revealed soon.

With a melody that feels darker and more hypnotic than their massive hit “Today’s Song,” “Asking for a Friend” amplifies both energy and emotion. The song opens with an entrancing verse before erupting into a passionate refrain “What is real? I’m asking for a friend…” When the rapid rave like outro cuts off abruptly with a raw scream, “Or is this the end?”, Foo Fighters fans of all generations will find themselves pulled into that exhilarating rush only the band can deliver.

Frontman Dave Grohl shared an emotional reflection on the inspiration behind their new music and upcoming tour, “Since returning to the stage in San Luis Obispo five weeks ago, we’ve been reminded why we love and are forever dedicated to doing this Foo Fighters thing. From reuniting as a band and revisiting our 30 year catalog with the incredible blessing of Ilan Rubin on drums, to reconnecting with our amazing fans who we bombard with everything we’ve got, no matter the venue size this band has never felt more solid. And the sun is finally rising on the horizon.”

Grohl also recounted his long friendship with Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age, who will join Foo Fighters as a special guest for the upcoming tour,

“Back in 1992, I first saw Kyuss perform in Seattle and met Josh Homme. Decades later, after countless journeys, we’ve shared some of the most meaningful musical moments of my life. So it brings me great joy that we get to share this next chapter together with the mighty Queens of the Stone Age.”

He continues:

“But none of this would be complete without new music to share from Pat, Nate, Chris, Rami, Ilan, and myself. ‘Asking for a Friend’ is for those who have waited patiently in the cold, clinging to hope and faith to see their horizon again searching for ‘proof’ until the sun finally shines. It’s one of many songs to come.”
