
Bingkai Karya – Global pop-punk icons Simple Plan have officially released their long-awaited documentary, Simple Plan: The Kids in the Crowd — now streaming exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.
The film offers a rare, raw, and emotional look into the band’s incredible 25-year journey — from garage jam sessions and basement gigs to sold-out arenas and pop-punk legacy. Featuring never-before-seen archival footage, the documentary also includes exclusive interviews with the band and fellow legends from the scene such as Mark Hoppus (Blink-182), Avril Lavigne, Dexter Holland and Noodles (The Offspring), and Fat Mike (NOFX).
Directed by Didier Charette and produced by Sphere Media, the film chronicles the making of timeless hits like “Welcome to My Life,” “I’d Do Anything,” and “Perfect”, while reflecting on how the band stayed relevant and real in a fast-changing world.
“Working on this documentary has been such an emotional rollercoaster,” said drummer Chuck Comeau. “We got to relive the early days in our parents’ basements to performing across the globe. We hope it inspires fans to chase their own dreams, just like we did.”
New Music, Same Heart: “Nothing Changes” Single & Soundtrack Drop July 11
Coinciding with the documentary, Simple Plan will release a brand-new single titled “Nothing Changes” on July 11, along with its official music video and the official soundtrack to The Kids in the Crowd.
The track delivers a high-energy wave of nostalgia and resilience, celebrating the band’s past while stepping confidently into their next chapter. The accompanying soundtrack also features unreleased demos and rare recordings — giving fans an even deeper look into the band’s creative journey.
