G.A.T.E. is a virtual band consisting of Juno Chapel (vocals, guitar), Ben Waller (bass), and Hana Takahashi (drums). With the music video for their single “Giants Among The Elders”, they welcome listeners into the world of G.A.T.E. Originally introduced through Instagram @suneatercoven, the band wanted to introduce each member’s traits, hobbies, food, and favorite places in this video produced by Sun Eater Studio in collaboration with Monocá Collective.
The video “Giant Among The Elders” is directed by Sahid Permana and perfectly blends the nooks and crannies of Jakarta with the world of G.A.T.E. Accompanied by various reasons, the three members compactly answer that Blok-M is their favorite place in Jakarta. Connected transportation facilities are also one of the reasons this place is the perfect meeting place for Ben, Juno, and Hana. Ben explains that the hustle and bustle of Blok-M can represent various periods in Jakarta, both new and old.

The trio started the band after Juno and Ben met at this supermarket. This time they collaborated with a Sasa brand that is quite large in Indonesia. G.A.T.E felt that Sasa’s values and enthusiasm for spreading joy to everyone were in line with their musical vision and essence. Similarly, Sasa felt that G.A.T.E’s dreams and love for music provided a refreshing message of happiness.
G.A.T.E’s exploration of the world in visual form does not stop there, the virtual band wants to further develop visual content that tells their history and journey. “OF COURSE! Hahaha… just wait, all of our journey is on GATE’s Instagram. So if you want to follow, that’s where we tell you about GATE’s life. Moreover, the admin is mysterious!” said Juno while laughing and was greeted by Hana’s babbling, saying that everyone already knows that the admin is Juno.
