Gangga and His “Empty House” on Feeling Safe and Loved Unconditionally

Gangga serves us with his new metaphoric songs “Empty House”. As his first single in 2023, “Empty House” is accompanied with Gangga’s soft voice and a breezy acoustic guitar play which can be found in his past songs. This song is a metaphor about a house that’s beside acting as a place to stay, it is also a place where we can feel safe and comfortable enough with one existence, and to be acknowledged for who you are.

The song, filled with a hopeful lyric, came spontaneously during the writing process. Gangga feels the urge to be more honest, both with his audience and himself. Taking a broader point of view regarding love, not only about our significant other, but also about love that brings the safe and comfortable feelings, and how to thrive and adapt to reach his position today.

Starting his career by releasing “Blue Jeans”, Gangga managed to reach No.1 on Spotify Global Viral Chart and it also managed to become viral on Tiktok and a lot of creators used the song for almost 30.000 times. In 2021, Gangga released his first album “It’s Never Easy” that became a major step in his career as a singer/song-writer. A pop-folk album with a calm mid-tempo music has become his trademark sound.
