Bingkai Karya – (What do you want by coming to me if you don’t actually want me?) The anticipation of falling in love became the spark for Dere to write her latest song, “Mawar”. Naturally, when falling in love, a sense of caution arises, driven by the fear of heartbreak. Through this song, Dere draws an analogy between human caution in love and the allure of a thorned rose.
Written and arranged by Dere alongside Mikha Angelo, this song presents a relaxed rhythm, offering a different atmosphere that invites listeners to experience various emotions of love. Released on February 14, “Mawar” serves as the opening track for a series of new works that will be part of Dere’s second album.
“The song is inspired by the natural expectations we have for people who come and go in our lives. It’s interesting to me how some become close friends, some stay briefly, and some unexpectedly return after years of distance,” said Dere, reflecting on how human relationships continuously evolve over time.
The “Mawar” music video has also been released, featuring a unique aesthetic exploration through the use of old tube televisions. The song is now available on all digital music platforms, and the music video can be enjoyed on Tiga Dua Satu’s YouTube channel. Enjoy Dere’s latest creation—may it resonate with your heart as she continues to prepare for her upcoming full album.
