Hetty Koes Endang & Afifah Yusuf Release “THR (Eid Tradition)”, A Mother and Child Collaboration Full of Meaning & Eid Nostalgia!

Bingkai KaryaHetty Koes Endang, a famous Indonesian musician, together with her daughter Afifah Yusuf, has just released a single themed Lebaran titled “THR (Tradisi Hari Raya)”. This song is inspired by typical Lebaran moments, starting from the presence of special dishes such as opor, rendang, lontong sayur, to dry cakes such as nastar and kastengel. In addition, the lyrics also touch on small talk questions that often arise during family gatherings, such as “When are you getting married?” or “Why are you getting fat?”, which often make us sigh.

This mother and daughter collaboration is the first experience for Hetty and Afifah in one music project. Both expressed their happiness and enthusiasm in working together. The creative process and production of this song took place very quickly, taking only one month from the workshop, recording, mixing, mastering, to the production of the music video.

Through “THR (Tradisi Hari Raya)”, Hetty and Afifah want to convey the message that celebrating Hari Raya does not need to be luxurious and excessive. The most important thing is togetherness, gathering, eating together, and forgiving each other. They also highlighted that small talk during Eid, although sometimes annoying, is actually a form of care and warmth in our tradition.

The concept of the “THR” music video displays the simplicity and warmth of family gatherings, with colorful visuals through food properties and decorations such as going home, as well as unique fashion styles. This is a symbol of the excitement that exists from the beginning to the end of the video.

The song “THR (Tradisi Hari Raya)” is designed to be a companion for listeners while fasting during the month of Ramadan and celebrating Eid al-Fitr with family. With a combination of traditional music and modern arrangements, this song is expected to provide a new color in the Indonesian music industry and be enjoyed by various generations.

In the future, Hetty and Afifah plan to release a new song project, both solo and in collaboration. Hetty, who is currently busy with various activities, has tips for keeping her body fit, namely maintaining a diet and staying active at various events. They hope that “THR” can inspire and accompany listeners in celebrating togetherness on Eid.
