Bingkai Karya-Since this June, Japanese singer-songwriter HIRAIDAI has been releasing a series of monthly EPs titled “LUCKY BAG.” Each EP features a mix of fresh tracks. It also contains HIRAIDAI’s picks of older songs that fit with the new ones. Sometimes even home demos recorded on his iPhone. The latest, “Summer Princess,” came out on August 14.
This third EP showcases the new track “Summer Princess” alongside five carefully chosen older songs. All songs feature a summery vibe meant to make the listeners feel like at the beach. The six-song EP includes the classic summer hit “Summer Queen” from his 2015 album “Slow & Easy,” the heartfelt “GIRL FRIEND” from 2020, and the ever-popular “Thinking of You” from 2014.
The brand-new title track “Summer Princess” is a sweet, refreshing summer love song for the princess with whom the singer walks on the journey of life. The modern neo-acoustic sound and endlessly smoothing vocals blend perfectly to create a song only HIRAIDAI could make.
