Bingkai Karya – Ikimonogakari releases its 35th single titled “Unmeichan.” This single served as the soundtrack for the anime series “Mission: Yozakura Family.” This lively track drew the public’s attention to the anime series. “Unmeichan” evokes the listener’s vibrant mood with its powerful and upbeat vibe.
Ikimonogakari’s exclusive performance on “Amazon Music Live: Ikimonogakari” in October last year also included his 35th single. The music video for “Unmeichan” has also been streamed on Ikimonogakari’s YouTube channel.
On February 1, 1999, Yoshiki Mizuno and Hotaka Yamashita founded Ikimonogakari. They went to the same junior high, high school, and elementary schools. They got the name of Ikimonogakari (which loosely translates to “Team of Responsible Living Things”) from a story about how they fed goldfish together during their first year in elementary school.
Together, they started doing street performances along the Odakyu Line and in the Atsugi and Ebina neighborhoods. They formed a trio on November 3, 1999, when Kiyoe Yoshioka unexpectedly joined one of Ikimonogakari’s busking sessions.
Since making their big label debut on March 15, 2006, with the song “SAKURA,” the group has released several hit songs, including “Arigatou,” “YELL,” “Blue Bird,” and “Kaze ga Fuiteiru.”
