Bingkai Karya – Welcoming the new year, singer and songwriter Idgitaf returns with her latest single, “Rutinitas.” This track follows the release of “Sedia Aku Sebelum Hujan” in early October 2025, a song warmly received by listeners across Indonesia.

Gita believes that “Rutinitas” represents an unusual kind of beginning, an honest reflection on the reality that not everyone starts the year with a sense of happiness or renewal.

“I wrote this song during a phase of overthinking, while being surrounded by many kind and supportive people, especially my partner,” Gita shares. “It made me wonder whether I could truly stay with them for a long time. There are so many meaningful places and memories we’ve shared and I started questioning: if one day we part ways, will I still be able to return to those places and feel the same way? Or will I avoid them instead? That fear and confusion made me think, does this mean I’ll have a new routine?”

Idgitaf is known for songs such as “Takut,” “Semoga Sembuh,” and “Satu-Satu,” which resonate deeply thanks to relatable storytelling and emotionally sincere lyrics. Her debut album, Mengudara (2023), features nine tracks and earned her a nomination at the 2025 Indonesian Film Festival for Best Original Theme Song through “Berakhir di Aku” (OST Home Sweet Loan).

In “Rutinitas,” Idgitaf immediately strikes an emotional note through the opening line: “Jika kita berpisah, rutinitasmu apa? Cara hidupku yang dulu waktu itu apa?” The song begins with pedal steel guitar by guest musician Amrus Ramadhan, adding a subtle country texture. Gentle instrumentation sets a melancholic mood before leading into a chorus filled with quiet hope: “Nanti terbiasa / Deras hujan pun reda / Begitu pun aku / Kan terbit masaku dengani cinta baru / Rutinitas baru.”

As a follow up to “Sedia Aku Sebelum Hujan,” Rutinitas presents a noticeably different lyrical tone. While the previous single carried a sense of assurance and steadfastness, this one leans toward uncertainty and anxiety about the future. Musically, it still sits within pop enriched with country elements and lyrics that feel simple yet piercing. Soft acoustic guitar opens the song, gradually building into an arrangement that remains heartfelt and grounded. The restrained chorus, calm yet resolute encourages listeners who may be in the same place to keep moving forward.

The song also highlights two perspectives voiced by Gita: imagining what it would feel like if separation truly happened, and acknowledging the lingering thoughts that come before and after it. “At the same time, our minds are filled with what’s broken, what hasn’t separated yet, and what already has. I believe humans always find a way to keep going worries about the future are natural, and we’re never really alone,” she explains.

For Gita, there is nothing wrong with being honest at the start of a new year even when it doesn’t feel particularly exciting. Rutinitas becomes an invitation to keep nurturing hope, no matter what life eventually brings.

“There’s research suggesting that new routines formed at the beginning of a year often last only about 14 days,” she says. “Eventually, old habits tend to return and I found that interesting to talk about. I really hope people can see themselves in ‘Rutinitas,’ and that the song finds a place in their hearts.”

Both “Sedia Aku Sebelum Hujan” and “Rutinitas” are part of Idgitaf’s second album, set for release in 2026. Together, the songs offer contrasting emotional colors exploring desire, love, uncertainty, and self reflection.

Released by Idgitaf Musik in collaboration with KithLabel, “Rutinitas” will be available on all digital streaming platforms starting January 5, 2026, with the official music video premiering on Idgitaf’s YouTube channel on January 7, 2026.
