RAMENGVRL and Basboi have combined their talents to deliver a sizzling new track, “Indo ME”. They entrusted the production process to Mardial and this collaboration is presented under the Warner Music Asia label.
“Indo ME” is a delectable fusion of musical elements, much like the perfect blend of ingredients in a bowl of fried noodles. RAMENGVRL, typically known for her English-language tracks, has infused Indonesian lyrics into the song. The enchanting flute melodies that open the track play a pivotal role in shaping its musical arrangement.
RAMENGVRL shared her excitement about this new venture, stating, “This is my first Indonesian-language song in my career, and for the first time, I’m singing with Indonesian lyrics. Previously, in the song ‘Ain’t No MF,’ I incorporated some Indonesian elements, like ‘mie soto,’ ‘Ramayana,’ and ‘ya Tuhan’. But now, the majority of the lyrics are in Indonesian.”
Basboi, who has been steadily climbing the ladder of success without any special privileges, joins forces with his signature Indonesian rap in “Indo ME.” His lyrics are thought-provoking, with lines like ‘semua mau jadi bintang, tapi tak tahan dibanting’ (everyone wants to be a star but can’t handle being thrown).

According to Basboi, “Indo ME” is more than just a collaboration. It’s a reflection of the current social landscape, particularly among young people. He adds, “Furthermore, this song can also serve as motivation that success can be achieved, and privilege is not an absolute right that one must possess to attain it.”
“Indo ME” is now available for your listening pleasure on all major digital streaming platforms.
