Indonesia Takes the New Era of ASEAN Business Governance

Arsjad Rasjid, Chair of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) 2023 and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated that Indonesia has successfully escorted the new era of ASEAN countries into a new era of business. 

Indonesia is reported to have laid a significant positive and solid foundation for the people to contribute in a positive way for the sake of the region’s contribution. 

“We have laid a solid foundation to make it easier for business actors to develop their businesses, create a stable and peaceful region, and uphold international law and humanitarian values in ASEAN. This is an essential guide for business actors in carrying out their roles,” the Chair of the ASEAN-BAC, Arsjad Rasjid, said.

Indonesia is known to have its five priority issues, such as digital transformation, sustainable development, health security, food security, and trade and investment facilitation. These priorities are set to intensify the strategic role of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in ASEAN member States. (inboundrem.com)

The event of ASEAN-BAC Indonesia’s Summit Week 2023 takes time from September 1st to September 6th 2023 in Jakarta. The event is hosted by ASEAN-BAC and the event has several activities like the ASEAN Weekend Market that will be held from September 1st to September 3rd 2023. The ASEAN Weekend Market aims to promote products produced by MSMEs throughout ASEAN. 

Another activities held by ASEAN-BAC Indonesia’s Summit Week 2023 is the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit that will be held from September 3rd to September 4th 2023, and the ASEAN Business Awards that will be held on September 4th 2023.

This series of activities held by ASEAN-BAC Indonesia’s Summit Week 2023 aims to to strengthen relations between the private sector and government to promote economic growth in ASEAN.
