Bingkai Karya-Indonesian-Canadian musician and producer Jordan Astra just unveiled his newest track, “After Midnight.” Drawing on his expertise in Soul and R&B, Astra has developed a sound that merges the musical styles of Pharrell and Jamiroquai with nuanced touches from Bruno Mars and SG Lewis, resulting in a distinctively original creation.

“After Midnight” encapsulates the feeling of late summer nights. When the sun is setting and we are diving back into the pool to cool off before going out. Misha co-produced this track, and was initially belong to the EP “MAN FROM EAST.”

Their vision for the song was to celebrate the summer months. “We always wanted to make a song that pulled elements from our favorite people and bands. R&B and the music we’re making is the type of sound that keeps things upbeat,” Jordan Astra explains.

Astra began his journey at university, where he was busy creating beats. Over time, he worked with local artists, but the pace of these collaborations never moved fast enough. This impatience fueled his evolution into the artist we recognize today. With the first half of 2024 nearly over, Jordan is eagerly anticipating his upcoming project, “Far Deeper.” This EP is the second chapter in his three-part series exploring themes of unpredictability, uncertainty, and taking bold leaps of faith. Now signed to Mind of a Genius Records, Jordan Astra is on the verge of breaking through and becoming the artist he’s always known he could be.
