The internet was filled with noise again when a group of middle-aged women was being uploaded onto the internet. They call themselves as Mother Bank.
Mother Bank is actually a music group initiated by the middle-aged women, who were the members of the group. It went viral on the internet because of their unique and quirky appearance. They use a neon pink robe and hat hood as tall as the skyscraper which is usually called as Sikke. Sikke is a hat hood that is normally used by sufi dancers.
The appearance of Mother Bank was uploaded by an Instagram account @yesnowavemusic. The Instagram post immediately got the attention of a lot of Indonesian netizens (internet users). Indonesian netizens don’t need a long time to figure out who the distinct group of middle-aged women are. And it is known that the Mother Bank actually has released their debut album called “Tanggung Renteng” on June 19th, 2023.
