Bingkai Karya – Rising singer Kenriz has released his latest single, “Masih Seperti Dulu” (Still the Same), marking his second release under Universal Music Indonesia after the success of his debut track “Sakit Hati” (Heartbroken). This new single carries a slow pop-rock touch with a nostalgic 2000s band sound. For the songwriting, Kenriz collaborated with Krisna Triastantya and Hara Josua.
“Masih Seperti Dulu” (Still the Same) tells the story of someone trying to save a relationship that no longer feels as fiery as it once did. “The song is a reaffirmation that even though the passion may fade, the love itself hasn’t changed it’s still the same as before,” Kenriz explains.
The track’s arrangement leans heavily into pop-rock, enriched with catchy guitar melodies that highlight the 2000s vibe, while Kenriz’s warm, straightforward, and powerful vocals make it uniquely his own.
The music video, directed by David Christover of YouKnowWho Film, enhances the song’s rock aesthetic with earthy tones and outdoor visuals featuring boulders, hills, and fields. “The outdoor concept fits the song perfectly it really strengthens the whole vibe,” says Kenriz, who was also a contestant on Indonesian Idol Season 13.
With this second single, Kenriz hopes his music reaches more listeners and solidifies his commitment to pursuing a career in the Indonesian music industry. “I hope my work can be heard, loved, and enjoyed by more people, while also helping me spread my wings in the music scene,” he shares.
