Kim Deal Releases New Single “A Good Time Pushed” And Announces Debut Album Solo Nobody Loves You More

Bingkai Karya-“A Good Time Pushed” is another track from Kim Deal’s first solo album, Nobody Loves You More. Steve Albini, a longtime friend, engineered Kim’s farewell song and record in her Chicago Electrical Audio studio. Breeders members Jim Macpherson and Kelley Deal appear. The song celebrates relationship beginnings and ends: “Now is the time / For me to get what I want.” The single has Mark Satterthwaite visuals.

On November 22nd, 4AD will release Kim Deal’s debut album, Nobody Loves You More, which includes the songs “Coast” and “Crystal Breath.” After Deal went to Los Angeles and left the Pixies’ “Lost Cities Tour,” he wrote and recorded the album’s title track in 2011 (early versions of the songs were included on five of the album’s five tracks).Deal’s meticulous approach to her art refined the album over several years.

Each song has a story, from a Florida Keys winter holiday with her parents to her cover band wedding “Margaritaville” to her mother’s dementia.

The album celebrates Deal’s unparalleled artistry, including his career highlights with Pixies, The Amps, and The Breeders and her unwavering cultural influence on Kurt Cobain and Olivia Rodrigo for generations.
