Bingkai Karya Laufey, a GRAMMY®-winning Icelandic-Chinese musician, composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, releases a new holiday album track featuring her rendition of “Santa Baby.”

The music video stars Laufey, Bill Murray as the narrator, and American Ballet Theatre principal dancer Isabella Boylston, who performs with an ensemble choreographed by Alex Wong (So You Think You Can Dance, The Greatest Showman, Smash). Video for “Santa Baby”

Laufey’s music defines the season. In 2021, ‘A Very Laufey Holiday’ began with “Love To Keep Me Warm” (with dodie), followed by “The Christmas Waltz” in 2022 and “Christmas Dreaming” in 2023. Last year, Norah Jones and Laufey collaborated on ‘Christmas containing You’ (Blue Note), a two-track single containing a cover of “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” and a new original “Better Than Snow.”

In addition to “Santa Baby,” Laufey is releasing ‘A Very Laufey Holiday’ on vinyl for the first time. Each vinyl album has two of Laufey’s four holiday classics, offered in a limited edition box set.

Additionally, ‘Laufey’s A Night at the Symphony: Hollywood Bowl’, her concert film premiere, will be shown in select cinemas and IMAX theaters starting December 6. Directed by Sam Wrench (Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour), Laufey’s performance with the Los Angeles Philharmonic is a captivating musical voyage under the stars in her hometown of Los Angeles.

The film offers a behind-the-scenes look at Laufey’s historic event, held at the same location as Ella Fitzgerald and other influential performers. Variety says “Laufey feels like she was born to play the Hollywood Bowl.” Visit the event website for IMAX and standard-format cinema ticketing information.
