Bingkai Karya – This year marks the 10th anniversary of Daughter’s studio album ‘Not To Disappear’. To celebrate the milestone, the trio of Elena Tonra, Igor Haefeli, and Remi Aguilella have shared a new song titled “Not Enough.”
Originally written and demoed during the sessions for ‘Not To Disappear’, “Not Enough” was finally recorded in November 2025 at Total Refreshment Studio in London. The track was produced by Igor Haefeli and mixed by Nicolas Vernhes.
The band explained, “Not Enough didn’t quite find its place on ‘Not To Disappear’, but we always loved it; we even played it live a few times before it returned to being a demo stored on a hard drive. To mark the album’s 10th anniversary, we wanted to revisit some of the unfinished threads from that era. In November 2025, we finally reunited in London and recorded ‘Not Enough’ together in the studio. Now that we live in different places and much of our recent work has been made remotely, the process felt like stepping back in time.”
Produced by Igor Haefeli and Nicolas Vernhes (Deerhunter, Animal Collective, War on Drugs), ‘Not To Disappear’ was recorded in the summer of 2015 at Vernhes’ Rare Book Room Studio in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Released in January 2016, the album debuted in the UK Top 20 and was followed by headlining tours across South America, North America, Australia, and Asia, concluding with a sold-out show at O2 Academy Brixton in London.
