Bingkai Karya – Michael Clifford, acclaimed guitarist and founding member of the multi-platinum band 5 Seconds of Summer, officially steps into his solo spotlight with the release of his debut album ‘SIDEQUEST’ via Hopeless Records. Produced by JT Daly (Benson Boone, PVRIS), the album includes previously released singles “kill me for always” (featuring Porter Robinson), “cool”, and “give me a break!” (featuring Waterparks).
‘SIDEQUEST’ finds Michael exploring the delicate balance between adulthood and self-expression. Now a father and having moved across the country, his life is evolving but his music remains a playground for youthful honesty. The album is a deeply personal reflection, blending upbeat, energetic sounds with vulnerable, introspective lyrics.
“I’m so excited that my album ‘SIDEQUEST’ is officially out! I’ve got so much gratitude for everybody who helped bring this thing into existence,” Michael shares. “I love everybody who has listened to this music SO much, and I hope it can become the soundtrack to some moment of your life like it’s become mine.”

Directed by JORDIEDOTCOM (Sophie Powers, Lil Tecca, Don Toliver), the video was created in just a week after an early preview of the song went viral.
“I leaked a bit of my song ‘enough’ and the reception was beyond what I could imagine,” Michael said. “We quickly scrambled to find someone to pull together a music video, and the absolute wizard JORDIEDOTCOM came through with a week’s notice and a video that I’m so proud of.”
