This method involves manipulating weather conditions to alter atmospheric parameters such as rainfall, air temperature, and wind patterns. By steering weather patterns, this technology can be employed to alleviate droughts, slow down the spread of fires, and reduce the risk of forest fires.
One key approach within weather modification technology is to enhance rainfall in fire-prone regions. This can be achieved by seeding clouds with small particles that serve as nuclei for raindrop formation. This process substantially increases the likelihood of precipitation, assisting in extinguishing fires and restoring moisture to fire-affected areas.
