Misellia Expresses How Introverts Think In “Penyendiri”

Misellia is back with her new album “Penyendiri”.  With ten songs on this album, Misellia expresses her thoughts as an introverted person.

Misellia’s album “Penyendiri” is where she combines her pop persona with explorations of other subgenres. One of them is the song “Sendiri,” which was created with her mentor, Yura Yunita. Then there’s “Mengulur Waktu,” a song Misellia co-wrote with Donne Maula that became an expression of Misellia’s heart that wasn’t used to maintaining relationships.

One of the most poignant songs on this album is “Rapuh,” in which Misellia reveals her greatest anxiety about “how to be mature?” Despite the serious theme, “Repetisi” has a happier tune typical of dance-rock bands from the 1990s.

Misellia’s main song is “Penyendiri,” which is also the title of the album. This song captures the worries, irrational thoughts, and hopes of an 18-year-old girl as she explores life.

Misellia explained that the album’s concept is a reflection of her personality, what she has been going through, and how she approaches everything. Misellia added that this album is dynamic, full of emotion, and completely authentic.
