“Nafas Buatan” is not just a heartbreak song or a vague life reflection. It is a conversation between a person and themselves when everything feels heavy. The “role” someone wants to end in this song is intentionally left open: it could be responsibility, presence, a relationship, or even life itself. Prince gives listeners space to see their own story within it.
