NOTHING MORE Unleashes Deluxe Edition of CARNAL Featuring Chris Daughtry and Exclusive Tracks, ‘FREEFALL’

Bingkai Karya – Renowned as one of rock’s most explosive acts, NOTHING MORE blends high-octane energy, soaring melodies, and unique sonic landscapes in songs that candidly embrace raw emotion. The three-time Grammy-nominated band—Jonny Hawkins (vocals), Mark Vollelunga (guitar), Daniel Oliver (bass), and Ben Anderson (drums)—has officially released the deluxe edition of their critically acclaimed 2024 album CARNAL on all digital platforms via Better Noise Music. Physical editions on CD and vinyl are available for pre-order, with a release date set for May 16, 2025.

CARNAL (DELUXE) adds five bonus tracks, including a brand-new version of the emotional song “FREEFALL,” now featuring 6x Platinum-certified rock artist Chris Daughtry, available on all digital platforms. The “FREEFALL” video tells the story of a firefighter grappling with his mental health, who unexpectedly finds new direction in life after encountering a stray dog. The video is available now on Better Noise Music’s official YouTube channel.

NOTHING MORE once again collaborated with director Stephen Wayne Mallet, who previously directed the “Fade In, Fade Out” video from their 2017 album The Stories We Tell Ourselves, which has surpassed 10 million views.

“We wrote this song as an anthem for those stuck in the chaos and uncertainty of life,” shares frontman Jonny Hawkins about “FREEFALL.” “We all experience moments when life feels like it’s slipping away—whether it’s a breakup, job loss, or the death of a loved one. These moments can be filled with anxiety or lead to spiritual awakening when we choose to accept change. We’ve always believed that loss is an invitation to rise to a higher level of consciousness, and this song captures that feeling. Chris Daughtry truly brought the emotion to life with his incredible vocals. We’re honored to have collaborated with him on one of the best songs we’ve ever written.”

CARNAL has delivered two #1 Active Rock singles—“ANGEL SONG (feat. David Draiman)” and “IF IT DOESN’T HURT”—and has amassed over 100 million streams. Hailed as “one of the band’s most eclectic releases” by Blabbermouth, the album features 15 high-energy rock anthems that showcase NOTHING MORE’s dynamic live performance energy, according to Knotfest.

The deluxe edition includes four additional tracks: a live version of “ANGEL SONG” recorded at the 2024 Aftershock Festival featuring guest vocalist David Draiman of Disturbed; two remixes by Matt Good (Hollywood Undead, Asking Alexandria) and Justin “JD” Deblieck (Ice Nine Kills, Motionless In White); and a newly released track from February 7, titled “WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE.”
