Bingkai Karya – Alternative pop duo OKAAY makes a powerful comeback with their latest single, “Temukan Bahagia” (Finding Happiness). The song was born from the realization that sometimes separation, despite its pain, can be the best path toward true happiness.
“Temukan Bahagia” captures a reality many people face: a breakup not caused by betrayal or violence, but by differences in vision, mission, and personality that simply cannot be forced to align. Through this song, OKAAY reminds listeners that endings can become new beginnings, offering peace and, ultimately, happiness.
According to the duo, many people struggle to let go of someone they love simply because of the comfort of familiarity, even when the relationship is filled with wounds. Fear of loneliness and starting over often becomes the greatest obstacle. With “Temukan Bahagia”, OKAAY aims to encourage their listeners to keep moving forward, because true happiness may be waiting just beyond separation.
The creation of this single also carries a unique story. Together with their manager, OKAAY left the hustle of Jakarta and spent three days in Ubud, Bali. At the serene home of Petra Sihombing, they immersed themselves in creative discussions and songwriting. After two days of heartfelt brainstorming, “Temukan Bahagia” was born with a warm and genuine essence.
As a message to anyone going through separation, OKAAY says, “Don’t be afraid to start over when things are no longer possible. Relax, you’ve just broken up, I’ve even gone through divorce!” A lighthearted yet meaningful reminder that the end of one story does not mean the end of everything.
“Temukan Bahagia” also marks the opening chapter for OKAAY’s upcoming second album, currently in progress. Three years after their debut album, the duo feels that now is the perfect moment to present a body of work full of color, fresh energy, and new maturity in their music.
