Bingkai Karya– Prince Husein brought his old first guitar to his rented place after returning from his homeland, and he composed the song “Walau Berantakan” (“Even Though It’s Messy”) around midnight. Upon his initial arrival in Jakarta, he employed that guitar to express all of his emotions, as he encountered the complexities of life, including uncertainty, grief, obstacles, and apprehension about the future. In conjunction with Prince’s recurrent emotions, “Walau Berantakan” emerged.
He spontaneously uttered the phrase “Even though the night doesn’t give me a chance to think clearly” when he played that ancient guitar.
“Walau Berantakan” is a cry of optimism and a resolute conviction that nothing in this world is eternal. Happiness, perplexity, ignorance, restlessness, and doubt—all will eventually come to an end and be repeated. It is a cycle that progresses from one aspect to the next in accordance with the passage of time and the experiences of humans.
“Walau Berantakan” is also an invitation to all listeners to embrace the complete spectrum of emotions that humans experience, including both positive and negative moments.
The song was composed by Prince Husein, produced by both he and Daniel Rimaldi, and is a testament to their collaboration in determining the emotive impact and sound of the track. Pamungkas, a renowned artist and producer, played a significant role in the final version by mixing and mastering it to guarantee that the song realized its maximum sonic potential.
By combining these talents, “Walau Berantakan” conveys a message that is both profoundly personal and universal, which is further emphasized by the production team’s expertise. The song’s distinctive texture is the result of this collaboration, which combines refined production with raw emotional expression.
