Rebelsuns is here with the release of a song titled ‘Berdua’ for the original soundtrack of “Catatan Si Boy”. Rebelsuns is known for their songs from the genre of pop-modern to pop disco-funk. For this reason, together with MD Musik Indonesia, the song ‘Berdua’ is also packaged very fresh and still maintains the Rebelsuns’ characteristics.
‘Berdua’ depicts a story of romance and moments together with a partner. Being the Original Soundtrack of the film “Catatan Si Boy”, this song is the point of view of the love story of BOY (Angga Yunanda) and VERA (Alyssa Daguise).
This song was written directly by Dai Ramadhani, Rebelsuns vocalist, which was written earlier in 2020. The arrangement was composed by Dai Ramadhani, Gilang Wisnandar, and Ivan Ardihernawan. Carrying a combination of melodies with cool guitar strains, this song makes this song feel so modern and perfect for Gen-Z listeners.

“Catatan Si Boy” is a film directed by Hanung Bramantyo and played by a number of famous and talented stars. “Catatan Si Boy” tells the story of BOY (Angga Yunanda), a handsome, rich, fun, and soft-hearted student. It’s no wonder that many female students want Boy to be her boyfriend. Yet, Boy already has a lover whom he loves very much named NUKE (Syifa Hadju), a beautiful daughter of a public official. Unfortunately, Nuke’s father disapproved of Boy and Nuke’s relationship.
Boy is frustrated and heartbroken when Nuke disappears and completely cuts off contact with Boy. Boy dissolves in grief because of a sense of loss until a beautiful new student named VERA (Alyssa Daguise) manages to infiltrate and starts trying to heal BOY’s heart. This made BOY experience attacks from Vera’s ex-boyfriend, JEFFREY, who did not accept Boy and Vera’s relationship. The continuation of their story will soon be broadcast simultaneously on August 17, 2023 in cinemas throughout Indonesia.
