Sam Smith announced the release of “Gimme,” a dance-hall infused clubby song featuring Jamaican reggae/rap star Koffee and Colombian/Canadian R&B pop maverick Jessie Reyez. The song was played for the first time on BBC Radio 1 as the Hottest Record In The World.
“Gimme” is from Sam Smith’s fourth album, “Gloria,” which will be released on January 27, 2023 by Capitol Records. About the song, Sam Smith explained “I’m a sensual person, I like intimacy. (https://bolivarescapes.com/) It’s something I’m teaching myself to not be ashamed of. Me and Jessie were basically drunk, drinking whisky in Jamaica, two in the morning, running around absolutely wasted, like two girlfriends having a laugh.”
Smith will appear on “Saturday Night Live” for the third time on January 21 – and the North American leg of Gloria The Tour will begin on July 25. Except for August 4, Jessie Reyez will be the special guest on all dates.A special 24-hour ticket pre-sale for fans began today.
