Bingkai Karya – Indonesian singer, producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Petra Sihombing has released a new single titled “80 km/h”, taken from his upcoming album “senang ok, sedih gpp”. Set to be released on August 8, 2025, this will be Petra’s fourth album, adding to his previous releases including one EP and several singles.
“80 km/h” describes a rare moment in life when everything moves slowly and calmly. Even when the journey feels stuck, things still flow gently—like cruising steadily at 80 kilometers per hour. The song reflects Petra’s quiet strength in carrying emotional weight, showing that it’s okay not to feel okay right away. It’s a soundtrack for those in transition, searching for direction through life’s noise.
Built with warm synths, soft guitar picking, and steady rhythms, “80 km/h” sounds honest, relaxed, and very human. Petra sings in a calm tone with lyrics that feel like a conversation with himself. The song invites listeners to reflect, feel their emotions, and give space to both joy and sadness as natural parts of life.
The song doesn’t follow a typical structure with a big dramatic chorus or climax. Instead, Petra wants listeners to understand that not every song needs to be loud or attention-grabbing. “80 km/h” acts like a mirror—it helps you see where you are at this moment in your life. With this song, Petra invites listeners to be present, to slow down, and to walk gently through their emotions even when the path isn’t clear yet.
“80 km/h” captures the spirit of senang ok, sedih gpp, which embraces both happiness and sadness without trying to fix either. With honest lyrics, the song offers a glimpse into Petra’s emotional journey of accepting every feeling—happy, sad, or in between. This single marks the beginning of a new chapter in Petra’s music.
