Shakila Anjani presents two singles “Tentang Kita Malam Itu” and “Bagaimana Untuk Bertahan” produced by well-known producers, Andi Rianto and Tito P Soenardi. With her soulful, unique, and bold timbre voice, Shakila encouraged herself to compete in The Voice Indonesia in 2018 and was trained by Anggun C Sasmi.
“Tentang Kita Malam Itu” brings pop broadway style and directed by Andi Rianto as producer, composer, and conductor from Magenta Orchestra. Not only that, the recording process involves experienced session players: Andre Dinuth (guitar), Rishanda (bass), and Ronald (ex Gigi’s drummer). The combination of personnels succeed to provide the ambiance of live music performance. ““Tentang Kita Malam Itu,” tells a story of someone who still has a hope for others, unfortunately, they can’t be together anymore because the other person has passed away,” Shakila explains.
Unlike “Tentang Kita Malam Itu” that brings an orchestra atmosphere, “Bagaimana Untuk Bertahan” focused on guitar instrument and enhanced the dramatic atmosphere. Tito P. Soenardi the producer who made many hits by Cakra Khan and Judika involves in directing of “Bagaimana Untuk Bertahan”. On the other side, Shakila reveals the story behind the song, “For “Bagaimana Untuk Bertahan” mainly about someone who can’t move on but the other person don’t want to be together anymore”
