Bingkai Karya– Welcome to a new era of PVRIS. Lyndsey Gunnulfsen releases her new EP, “F.I.L.T.H.” , embracing a new musical path. The new mixtape was created by female, non-binary, and queer engineers, producers, and artists.
LIGHTS, Tommy Genesis, Alice Longyu-Gao, Mothica,Uffie, and Sizzy Rocket stand out. PVRIS is back in action, eager to release significant music after touring the UK, EU, and America in 2024.
According to Lyndsey Gunnulfsen, “F.I.L.T.H.” is a self-produced music project by friends and former tourmates. My goal was to create a collaborative project where female/non-binary artists could join PVRIS and vice versa, have full control over lyrics and music, and enjoy making music together.
Every writer was encouraged to express themselves and contribute their own unique voice to each tune. Women/non-binary friends wrote, mixed, and mastered all songs, which were written and recorded at home and then developed on tour. “We wish we had more time to make more. I want more projects like this!”
“In my career, I’ve had hundreds of writing/producing sessions, but just 20 with female writers and 10 with female producers. Advocacy for artists to work with women is lacking across labels, publishers, and management.
Rarely is there advocacy for connecting and bringing only women together, especially without making it a marketable event or chore. These collaborations should occur naturally, regardless of audience.”
