Bingkai Karya — Elma Dae returns with a new release, a remake titled “Kesalahan Ini Indah (Terlambat Bertemu).” The song is a refreshed interpretation of the classic track “Terlambat Bertemu” by Rida Sita Dewi, written by Yovie Widianto, now revived by Elma Dae with grander production, more expressive vocal delivery, and the addition of a rap section that adds new emotional depth to the narrative.
Elma brings a fresh, playful touch with modern beats that make the song feel closer to today’s listeners. Several lyric lines, especially in the opening were updated to make the story feel more relatable and aligned with Elma’s own interpretation of the song. “‘Kesalahan Ini Indah (Terlambat Bertemu)’ is a song about timing that is never right. About someone who always makes your heart race, but appears at the wrong time,” Elma shares. The creative process brought Elma together with the song’s original composer, Yovie Widianto, and music producer Adrian Kitut.
Both musicians played key roles in shaping the vocal character Elma wanted to highlight in this version. Recording took place at GS03 UK Studio before moving to ARU Studio for mixing and mastering by Ari Renaldi. The single “Kesalahan Ini Indah (Terlambat Bertemu)” will be released on November 28, 2025 across all digital music platforms.
