The Rasmus Return with “Creatures of Chaos” – A Dark Rock Anthem for Outsiders

Bingkai Karya – Finland’s multi-platinum and gold-certified, record-breaking rock group The Rasmus return with their electrifying new single “Creatures of Chaos”, out now on all digital platforms via Better Noise Music and Playground Music. Once again blending their signature dark atmospheres with anthemic melodies, the band proves why they remain a force to be reckoned with in the rock world. The official video is now available on their YouTube channel.

At its core, “Creatures of Chaos” is an anthem for the outsiders—a global call for those who’ve ever felt like they don’t belong.

“‘Creatures of Chaos’ is an open invitation to all misfits and anyone who’s ever felt like an outsider to join us!” says frontman Lauri Ylönen. “The world today is pure chaos. I felt the need to make heavier music to reflect my own feelings of loss, fear, and discomfort. People are so divided in their opinions that I’ve been searching for hope and unity among those like me. It’s crucial to have a place where we feel accepted and can stand up for who we are. ‘Creatures of Chaos’ is a call for people like us to come together.”

The song was co-written by Lauri alongside legendary songwriters Desmond Child (Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Joan Jett, Alice Cooper) and Marti Fredriksen (Aerosmith), with whom the band previously collaborated on their Black Roses and Rise albums. The track was recorded at Fredriksen’s Sienna Studios in Nashville, and produced by Child and Fredriksen, with additional production, mixing, and mastering by Joseph McQueen at Sparrow Sound in Los Angeles.

Packed with pounding riffs, powerful hooks, and raw emotion, “Creatures of Chaos” channels the spirit of rebellion and unity that has always defined The Rasmus’ music.

The single follows their previous release, “Rest In Pieces”, which debuted on October 25, 2024, and has since garnered over 478K lyric video views. Fans can stream the new track on their preferred platform. With their signature blend of haunting atmosphere and sweeping melodies, The Rasmus continue to prove they are a commanding aesthetic presence in the global rock scene—with over 829 million global streams to date.
