Bingkai Karya – The Smile, Thom Yorke’s side project with Radiohead bandmates Jonny Greenwood and Tom Skinner, has dropped a brand new single, “Friend Of A Friend,” alongside exciting news about the upcoming album, Wall Of Eyes.
Fresh Off Tour, New Music Arrives:
“Friend Of A Friend” follows hot on the heels of The Smile’s extensive 2022/2023 tour and offers a studio experience featuring the London Contemporary Orchestra’s strings and Robert Stillman’s saxophone alongside the band’s signature sound. This track, previously showcased live, arrives with a music video directed by renowned filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson – a collaboration set to be explored further at unique “Wall Of Eyes, On Film” events.
Immersive Album Celebration:
From January 18th to 25th, select independent cinemas worldwide will host these special events, immersing fans in the new album, Wall Of Eyes. These evenings will offer:
- Exclusive surround sound playback of the entire album, accompanied by never-before-seen footage from the recording sessions.
- World premiere of the “Friend Of A Friend” music video and a presentation of Wall Of Eyes, both directed by Paul Thomas Anderson on 35mm film.
- A retrospective on Paul Thomas Anderson’s collaborations with Thom Yorke and Radiohead, including ANIMA and Daydreaming.

European Tour Expansion:
