Bingkai Karya – XG has officially announced their long-awaited first full-length album, ‘THE CORE – 核’, marking the beginning of a bold new era for the global hip-hop/R&B girl group.
The reveal follows a wave of speculation sparked on October 30, when XG posted a cryptic teaser featuring the single kanji “核” (core). The next day, the group unveiled the title of their upcoming world tour, XG WORLD TOUR: THE CORE, sending the internet into a frenzy and connecting the clues fans had been piecing together.
Kicking off in Japan in February 2026, the tour will bring THE CORE to audiences across Asia, North America, the UK and Europe, Australia, Latin America, and more.
First teased during their performance at Japan’s largest summer festival, a-nation, on August 30, the album quickly became one of XG’s most anticipated projects since the release of their digital single “GALA” in September. Today’s announcement marks a major milestone in the countdown toward the group’s next chapter.
‘THE CORE – 核’ represents XG at their most distilled a sonic statement that strips everything to the essence of their music, identity, and artistic philosophy. The album dives into the foundation of their self-defined genre, X-POP, and the creative spirit at its center: boundaryless, future-driven, and rooted in the belief that “great music holds value in and of itself.”
Tracklist and additional album information will be announced soon. Fans can now pre-order ‘THE CORE – 核’ through the XG Official US Shop, with more updates coming across XG’s official channels.
