This time, he has teamed up with a traditional Javanese singer from Gunung Kawi, Malang, known for her enchanting ‘DHAT’ performance in the Original Soundtrack of the film “KKN Di Desa Penari,” named Madukina. Their collaboration has produced a truly special song titled ‘Mantra Dahana,’ which is part of the Original Soundtrack of the film “Kisah Tanah Jawa Pocong Gundul” produced by MD Pictures.
This song, written by Iwa K, draws inspiration from the Javanese language, with the meaning ‘Mantra Api’ or ‘Fire Mantra.’ In ‘Mantra Dahana,’ Iwa K also takes on the role of the character Walisdi, one of the main characters in the film. Together with MD Musik Indonesia, they have successfully created a song that vividly visualizes the powerful character of Walisdi in “Kisah Tanah Jawa Pocong Gundul.” What makes this song truly special is the unique blend of traditional Javanese elements and modern touches.

The film “Kisah Tanah Jawa Pocong Gundul” tells the story of a man named Hao, who possesses the unique ability to see the past, leading him into a world filled with terror and mystery. Along the way, he uncovers the dark history of Pocong Gundul, who was revealed to be a black magic sorcerer named WALISDI (portrayed by Iwa K).
