From this very anxiety, Ghea Indrawari presents her latest single, “1000x,” an honest reflection on love that often gets trapped in the habit of comparison.
“Recently, I’ve noticed many cases of infidelity rooted in dissatisfaction with one’s partner. Yet, if we think about it again, maybe their partners had already tried their very best,” Ghea shares about the inspiration behind the single. “Often, after going through various ups and downs and finally truly understanding their feelings, they realize that this is still the person they would choose, even if they were given a thousand chances to live again,” she continues.
“1000x” is not a song about perfect, picture-worthy “relationship goals.” Instead, it celebrates real relationships two people who continue choosing each other without needing public validation. The song serves as a gentle confession that perhaps we are not lacking love, but rather comparing too much. “Through this song, I want to invite listeners to reflect on their relationships and appreciate the small things their partners do for them,” Ghea explains.
As a singer and songwriter, Ghea Indrawari is known for her emotional and heartfelt vocal character. She first gained national recognition after reaching the Top 5 of Indonesian Idol Season 9 in 2018. Since her debut, Ghea has consistently released personal and reflective pop songs such as “Teramini,” “Jiwa yang Bersedih,” and “Terima Kasih Sudah Bertahan,” solidifying her position as a female soloist with a strong emotional identity.
Through “1000x,” Ghea once again strengthens her connection with listeners, encouraging them to stop comparing and start appreciating the love they already have. “I truly believe there is no perfect relationship, and you don’t need to fully believe everything people post on social media. Instead of searching for someone who seems more perfect, who may not even exist, it’s better to be grateful for what you have now and love each other wholeheartedly,” Ghea shares.
