Bingkai Karya – After moving through various personal phases over the past few years, Jubilee returns with a new single titled “Lebih Dari Satu.” Written in 2025 and produced by IKIW, the song will be part of Jubilee’s upcoming full album. This release also marks her second Indonesian-language song, signaling a more mature and reflective artistic direction.
“Lebih Dari Satu” was not born from a dramatic event, but from a quiet realization that arrived slowly: in certain relationships, we are never truly the only one.
Jubilee shares that the song was inspired by the experience of being in an ambiguous space, where closeness feels real but commitment never fully exists. From that experience, she chose not to write from a place of blame, but from a clearer emotional distance. What remains is no longer anger, but a quiet acceptance.
“At this stage, I’m no longer interested in magnifying the pain,” Jubilee explains. “What’s more interesting is the moment when everything becomes clear, and we choose to walk away without drama. There’s a sense of calm in that.”
Through lyrics such as “ku pikir ku satu, ternyata salah satu,” which translates to “I thought I was the one, but it turns out I was just one of many,” “Lebih Dari Satu” captures a more subtle form of loss. It speaks about expectations collapsing without an explosion, and feelings that slowly lose their place. The minimal production by IKIW strengthens this atmosphere, creating a wide and intimate space where emotions are allowed to exist without being pushed too forcefully.
This single also marks a new mood within Jubilee’s musical universe. While her previous works often felt more reactive and emotionally intense, this phase carries a calmer and more mature energy. It leans more toward reflection than reaction, and more toward honesty than dramatization.
Shaped by experiences from recent years, Jubilee now writes from a different perspective. No longer from the center of the wound, but from the distance that comes afterward. “Lebih Dari Satu” becomes a portrait of that phase, a new space where loss no longer feels tragic, but instead becomes part of the process of understanding ourselves and the boundaries we hold.
As part of her upcoming album, the song also shows how Jubilee is increasingly comfortable using the Indonesian language to tell stories that are deeply personal yet resonate with many experiences of today’s generation. These include uncertain relationships, half-formed attachments, and the courage to choose oneself when clarity never arrives.
With “Lebih Dari Satu,” Jubilee does not offer the usual drama of heartbreak. Instead, she offers something quieter, and perhaps more relevant: clarity.
It is about realizing our place in someone else’s story, and choosing to step away before we lose ourselves.
