Bingkai Karya — South Korean genre-shifting artist Yves has released two new singles, “Hysteric” and “Adam,” offering listeners a glimpse into the emotional contrasts explored in her upcoming fifth EP, ‘CUTE & ANXIETY’, scheduled for release on November 20, 2026. Known for her versatile musical identity and distinctive artistic direction, Yves continues to push beyond conventional pop boundaries through her latest releases.
“Hysteric” unfolds through a dark and seductive deep-house groove, driven by a looping, distorted bassline that establishes an intense atmosphere. Throughout the track, Yves moves between airy humming and more candid vocal expressions, capturing a sense of emotional instability and the feeling of gradually losing control. Its recurring title becomes almost mantra-like, reflecting a thought that continues to linger.
Meanwhile, “Adam” serves as an emotional afterimage, extending the atmosphere and feelings introduced in “Hysteric.” Together, the two tracks present different dimensions of the emotional landscape that Yves explores throughout the upcoming EP.
Both singles are featured on ‘CUTE & ANXIETY’, a five-track record that examines the blurred boundaries between cuteness and anxiety. Rather than presenting these emotions as entirely separate experiences, Yves explores the complicated feelings and moments that exist between them. The EP also features Chilean artist AKRIILA on the track “Too Much,” adding another dimension to the project’s musical landscape.
The upcoming release follows Yves’ previous musical activities, including her fourth EP, ‘NAIL’, and the single “NAIL (feat. Lolo Zouaï).” Earlier this year, she also unveiled the music video for “Break it (feat. Lexie Liu),” further expanding her artistic presence and collaborations within the international music scene.
Beyond her recorded releases, Yves is preparing to bring her music to audiences across Asia and Australia through her upcoming headline tour. Beginning in Hong Kong on November 1, the tour will continue through Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Japan before reaching Melbourne on November 15 and concluding in Sydney on November 17, 2026.
