Google has expanded its Play Games beta for PC to over 60 new countries. This Play Games Beta PC project allows users to play Android games on their Windows systems. The program was initially launched in 2022 and has since been gradually rolled out to various regions, including Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, and Europe. With the recent expansion, the total availability of the program has reached over 120 countries, including Argentina and South Africa.
To use Google Play Games on PC, users need to have a Windows 10 PC with specific requirements. These include 4 CPU physical cores, 10GB of free storage on an SSD, an Intel UHD Graphics 630 GPU or a comparable one, and 8GB of RAM. However, since the program is still in beta, these requirements may change before the final release. Google has announced that users in India will be able to access the service in both English and Hindi.

In addition to popular titles like “Eversoul,” “Lords Mobile,” and “Evony: The King’s Return,” users will now have access to Indian games such as “Ludo King” and “Hitwicket Games.” Google Play Games offers a wide selection of over 100 titles under the program. One of the key features is the ability to sync game progress across multiple devices, including Android phones, tablets, Chromebooks, and PCs. Last year, Google also introduced keyboard control for select Android games on ChromeOS.
To support further game development, Google also launched an emulator for game-makers to debug their games quickly. Furthermore, the company provides integration with Android Studio, allowing developers to make adjustments and deploy their games more efficiently. These initiatives aim to enhance the overall gaming experience for users and encourage game development on the Android platform.
