Bingkai Karya – Oslo Ibrahim officially releases his latest EP TOP 5, a five-track collection that captures raw emotions and deeply personal reflections often chaotic, unfiltered, and unapologetically honest. The EP ties together two previously released singles “Fuck You” and “Aku Bukan Rumahmu Lagi” with three new tracks that expand Oslo’s emotional range as a singer-songwriter, vocalist, and producer.
Among the five tracks, “Alone Together” stands out as the centerpiece of the EP. With a long backstory, the song was originally written by Yudis Dwikorana and never intended for release just a demo Oslo helped shape. But after hearing it, the song lingered in Oslo’s mind for months. A year later, he reached out to ask for permission to officially record and release it a request that was met with full support from Yudis.
Lyrically, Alone Together goes beyond the surface-level loneliness often assumed in relationship songs. For Oslo, it represents a conversation between his current self and a past version of who he used to be a wilder, more spontaneous, and fearless version. It’s a night-long invitation to hang out with that part of himself, to reconnect with the chaotic freedom that once defined him before life became more structured and calculated.
The EP opens with Fuck You, an explosive and unfiltered track co-written with Dionaldy Iqbal. It’s not directed at anyone in particular it’s a sonic outburst of frustration at life, at circumstances, and at oneself. In contrast, Aku Bukan Rumahmu Lagi offers closure without resentment a space to let go of someone without bitterness. The remaining tracks, Too Deep and Jelek Tapi Lucu, reveal two sides of Oslo: one introspective and drenched in melancholy, the other playful, satirical, and creatively mischievous.
With TOP 5, Oslo also expands his collaborative circle, working closely with two long-time musical allies Yudis Dwikorana and Dionaldy Iqbal. Their contributions helped shape not just the sound of the EP, but also its emotional depth and direction, making it a product of authentic creative dialogue.
“TOP 5 isn’t about my best songs,” says Oslo. “It’s about five moments when I just couldn’t lie whether I wanted to scream, cry, or just laugh at how absurd life is.”
TOP 5 is now available on all major digital streaming platforms as of July 18, 2025.
