Bingkai Karya-Kaleb J is stepping into a new chapter with his latest mini album, “Off Guard.” After announcing the first single “Melepaskanmu,” now he’s back with a second track from the album, “Di Balik Pertanda.” This new song showcases another side of the story that Kaleb J wants to convey through his mini album.
“Di Balik Pertanda” captures the feelings of doubt, curiosity, and uncertainty that Kaleb J is going through. He chose to use guitar and drum beats to bring these emotions to life. “This song is about someone who still hopes to be together, even though the signs say it’s not going to work out,” Kaleb explains. “Even if they know deep down they might not be meant to be together, they keep searching for meaning behind it all.”
In terms of songwriting and sound, “Di Balik Pertanda” stands out from Kaleb’s previous single. This new track is a result of his collaboration with Belanegara Abe and contributions from a talented team, including Dustin David, Jordan Christian Mustamu, Ogi Lugas, Hery Alesis, Ano Stevano for mixing, and Dimas Pradipta for mastering.
The two singles released so far from “Off Guard” are both telling parts of Kaleb’s relationship experiences. He also got three more singles lining up. These are “Selimut Hati,” “Adinda,” and “Untukmu.” With “Di Balik Pertanda,” Kaleb hopes to remind listeners not to chase after love that’s clearly not meant to be. “Especially when the signs are obvious,” he adds.
