Bingkai Karya-Nashville alt-pop singer and songwriter Caroline Romano has just dropped her new single, “Body Bag.” This track, produced and co-written with Danen Reed Rector, dives into the experience of growing up and facing life’s tough truths.
In “Body Bag,” Caroline’s dreamy indie-pop voice glides over a mix of fuzzy guitars, energetic percussion, and sparkling synths. Like her recent hits “Doesn’t Matter” and “Used By You,” this song beautifully captures her talent for turning raw feelings into powerful anthems.
Caroline shared about her single, “I always imagined that by this age, my life would be shiny, fun, and exciting. I’ve spent years chasing those feelings, but ‘Body Bag’ reveals the real side of modern romance. Also the feeling of being both young and old at once. The song’s ups and downs mirror how my life feels right now. Like running barefoot on concrete, chasing something elusive but worth pursuing. That’s what ‘Body Bag’ represents.”
At just 22, Caroline Romano has shown herself to be a versatile artist. She has seamlessly moving between emotional ballads and energetic alt-rock songs. Since her 2022 debut album, “Oddities and Prodigies,” and her 2023 EP, “A Brief Epic,” she’s continued to evolve, adding new dimensions to her music with each release.
Caroline’s songs offer a raw and honest look at the life of a young woman today. Blending anguish, hedonism, and deep thought. Known for her electrifying live shows, she’s performed at key Nashville venues like The Basement East and The End. Recently, she also has wrapped up her first US tour supporting Grayscale and Smallpools.
