Bingkai Karya – After lending her voice to the soundtrack of 1 Imam 2 Makmum with the song “Lintasan yang Sama”, Meiska took a brief break from music. Now, as we enter mid-2025, she’s back with her latest single, Datang Tepat Waktu. Brighter and more cheerful than her previous tracks, this pop song will be available to stream starting June 20.
“Finally, I get to entertain the Meiteam again with my new single. It’s true that the gap between Datang Tepat Waktu and my previous release was quite long, but that’s because I was focusing on my Final Project at college, which needed a lot of my time and attention. Now that it’s done, I can reconnect with my listeners through this new track, and I’m so excited for everyone to hear it on June 20,” Meiska shared.
The song was written by Trakast, Yafi Aria, and Fabio Asher, and Meiska said she fell in love with it the moment she heard the demo. “I was instantly hooked from the first listen. We wrapped up the production in just a month because I couldn’t wait to share it with everyone. I’m really happy I got to work with Mas Trakast, Mas Yafi, and Kak Fabio. They were fun to collaborate with—kind, talented, and super open to ideas, which made the process smooth. They even let me hear a few of their drafts, and they were all so promising. I’m actually thinking about writing a song with them someday.”
While most of her past songs leaned into heartbreak and emotional themes, this time Meiska is embracing something a bit lighter, though still meaningful. “This one’s about someone who’s been let down by love in the past, but now they’ve finally found the right person. “Datang Tepat Waktu”
isn’t a sad song like before—it’s about that butterflies-in-your-stomach phase when you’re falling in love. Even though the vibe is more upbeat, it wasn’t without challenges. I had to really tap into the ‘feeling’ of the song—because it’s a sweet love song, it needs to be delivered with lightness but still carry meaning. That interpretation was actually trickier than singing a heartbreak song,” she explained.
Before its official release on June 20, Meiska gave fans a sneak peek by performing a snippet of “Datang Tepat Waktu” at a live viewing event for the Indonesia vs. China football match held at Posbloc Jakarta on June 5. The crowd’s response—both in person and online—was overwhelmingly positive. “I was so happy with the reaction to the teaser I sang at the Posbloc event. At first, I was unsure because this song feels quite different from my past releases. But thanks to the support from my listeners, I’ve become a bit more confident and excited to finally share this song.”
She also hopes that the message in this song reaches its listeners. “If you’re still going through a tough time because someone let you down, hang in there. There’s always a light at the end of the tunnel—someone out there who’s a better match for you. Believe that God will bring you someone who will return your love just as deeply,” she said in closing.
Meiska’s latest single, “Datang Tepat Waktu”, will be available on all digital music platforms starting June 20, 2025.

Born in Denpasar on May 20, 2003, Meiska Adinda has had a love for music since childhood. A fan of pop ballads, R&B, and jazz, she’s known for her powerful and unique vocal style, often showcased through her song covers. In 2022, the finalist of The Voice Kids Indonesia Season 3 released her debut single Hilang Tanpa Bilang under Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia, which has since garnered over 154 million streams on Spotify.
