Bingkai Karya – for Revenge, YB, and Tepe come together on “Museum Duka,” a new single about loss, remembrance, and learning to let go. Released on September 4, 2026, the collaboration brings together the musical identities of the three artists in a song that invites listeners to acknowledge grief rather than simply move past it.
The collaboration began after for Revenge, YB, and Tepe performed together at a festival, where they delivered “Serana” and “Penyangkalan.” The performance became the starting point for a creative relationship that eventually developed into “Museum Duka.” The collaboration was initiated by YB through Boniex, vocalist of for Revenge, while Tepe’s previous appearances as a drummer with for Revenge helped build a strong personal connection among the artists.
For the production, Boniex and YB collaborated on the lyrics, translating the idea of grief into a song about the different ways people process loss. Tepe takes on the drums, while Faisal Riant contributes to the arrangement, following his previous involvement in for Revenge’s “I Miss You Every Brand New Day.” The combination creates a meeting point between the distinct musical characters of for Revenge, YB, and Tepe.
At the heart of “Museum Duka” is the idea that everyone carries their own personal space for memories of people and moments that are gone. Boniex describes it as a place where people keep stories, faces, and versions of themselves they once knew deeply. Rather than encouraging listeners to forget, the song reflects on the possibility of accepting loss while continuing to remember.
For YB, the song also marks a new experience as his first time singing in Indonesian and his first collaboration with a band. His vocal character introduces a different color to for Revenge’s sound, while Tepe’s drumming strengthens the connection between the three musical perspectives.
“Grief is not about forgetting, but about learning to let go without having to stop remembering,” says Boniex, capturing the central message behind the song.
Released through Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia, “Museum Duka” is available on digital music platforms starting September 4, 2026. Alongside the single, its music video presents a theatrical and emotional visual interpretation of the theme of loss. Listeners are invited to experience “Museum Duka” and visit their own spaces of memory and remembrance.
