A Story of Distance, Reconnection, and Growth with Elisha Danielle “Freeze”

Bingkai Karya – Rising singer songwriter Elisha Danielle returns with her latest single, “Freeze,” a gentle exploration of distance and the comfort that comes when connections fall back into place. Inspired by her time living in Perth, Australia, the song plays like a heartfelt love letter to the city and the friendships that helped shape her.

“Every time I leave Perth, it feels like pressing pause on something I don’t want to let go of,” Elisha shares. “But every time I come back, everything fits again, the people, the energy, the connection. It’s like continuing a conversation that was only paused halfway.”

Written during a songwriting session in Ubud, Bali, together with producer Petra Sihombing, “Freeze” marks a significant step in Elisha’s musical journey. The track carries a warm atmosphere, built around organic instruments that provide a refreshing contrast to the synth pop character of her debut single, “Pretty Easy.” Through elements like gentle guitar picking, ambient textures, and grounded rhythms, Elisha creates a soundscape that is both reflective and hopeful.

“Distance doesn’t always have to feel sad,” she continues. “Sometimes time apart actually strengthens the bond. It creates space to grow, so when you reconnect, everything feels deeper and more meaningful.”

The music video for “Freeze” expands the song’s message through stunning visuals, featuring a miniature garden set built entirely from real plants. With soft lighting and natural tones, the video mirrors themes of growth, nostalgia, and renewal. Observant fans may also spot subtle “easter eggs” referencing “Pretty Easy,” offering hints of what’s to come next.

“Stepping into that garden set felt surreal like being inside a dream,” Elisha recalls. “We had to wait until sunset to capture the night garden scenes, and even though filming took 18 hours, I loved every moment of it.”

With only two singles released so far, Elisha Danielle is already carving out a strong artistic identity: gentle yet assured, introspective yet expressive. “Freeze” further establishes her as one of the most promising young songwriters, someone capable of pairing emotional honesty with cinematic visual storytelling.

“Freeze,” the second single from Elisha Danielle, is now available on all major digital music platforms worldwide.
