Bingkai Karya – Young singer Lyodra has released her first spiritual song in collaboration with internationally acclaimed violinist, Iskandar Widjaja. Released under the record label, HITS Records, the song titled “Melodi Cinta-Mu Tuhan” was launched to coincide with the commemoration of the death of Jesus Christ on Good Friday, March 3, 2026. Written by Mrs. Liliana Tanoesoedibjo, the word ‘melodi’ in the title serves as a metaphor to describe God’s love, beautiful, gentle, and soothing, like a flow of music.
“In line with the essence of Good Friday, this song portraits the majestic and noble love of God, which flows to purify human life and free us from the bondage of sin,” said Mrs. Liliana.
Through every lyric, Mrs. Liliana pours out her personal experience of encountering God’s real love, one that has the power to transform her life. The strong collaboration between her meaningful lyrics, the musical arrangement by producer Figgy Papilaya, the touching violin performance by Iskandar Widjaja, and Lyodra’s deeply expressive vocals makes this song especially suitable for reflection during the commemoration of the death of Jesus Christ.
Not only that, the inclusion of the verse “Be holy, because I am holy” (1 Peter 1:16) in the music video further strengthens the message being conveyed, that God desires his children to live holy lives because He is holy.
In 1 Peter 1:13-15, it is written:
As children of God, we must prepare our minds and be self-controlled, living holy lives and placing our full hope in the grace that will be given to us when Jesus Christ is revealed. Jesus Christ came into the world to redeem the sense of humanity by willingly dying on the cross for us. We are called to live as children of light who have received His grace, obedient to Him, not following the sinful desires that once controlled us in our ignorance. Instead, each of us should be holy in all aspects of life, just as He who called us is holy.
