Bingkai Karya –  JC-T has released ‘TANGENT,’ his third solo album, worldwide on September 28, marking a new chapter in his musical journey and expanding his creative ambitions. The release also highlights a broader role for JC-T, who steps further behind the music to take a leading position in shaping the album’s overall artistic direction.

For ‘TANGENT,’ JC-T serves as Executive Producer and Lead Producer, taking an active role across the project’s overall concept, musical direction, and visual expression. His expanded creative involvement positions the album as more than a collection of songs, reflecting a wider vision for how his music can be developed and presented.

The album moves across a diverse range of sounds, including atmospheric pop, R&B-influenced music, low-slung rap, and contemporary dance music. Rather than staying within a single musical style, ‘TANGENT’ brings these elements together to explore its central theme, “WHAT YOU SEE IS NOT THE WHOLE.”

At the heart of the album are themes of relationships, perception, and the many facets of self. Through its varied musical palette, ‘TANGENT’ approaches these subjects from different perspectives, inviting listeners to look beyond what may first appear on the surface.

The album is led by English focus track “DROP” and Chinese focus single “别放过,” giving the project two focal points across its multilingual musical presentation. Together, the tracks introduce the different sides of the album’s sound and thematic direction.

With ‘TANGENT,’ JC-T enters a new stage of his musical career, taking greater creative ownership while broadening his artistic ambitions. His work as Executive Producer and Lead Producer reflects an expanded contribution to the music itself as well as the project’s wider visual and conceptual identity.

‘TANGENT’ is available worldwide, offering listeners an opportunity to explore JC-T’s latest musical chapter and the perspectives that shape the album’s central idea: what is visible may not tell the whole story.
