About AiNA
AiNA THE END began her music journey in 2015 as part of the punk band BiSH. It made a splash with their major-label debut the following year. She launched her solo career in 2021 with her debut album, “THE END.” She wrote and composed it entirely by herself. After BiSH disbanded in June 2023, AiNA THE END fully focused on her solo music.
This year, she’s been busy with various projects: she wrote the theme song “Takaramono” for the drama series “Sayonara, Maestro!” and her song “Frail” was the theme for the movie “The Strange House” released in March. She also composed the theme song “Love Sick” for the animated film “Mononoke the Movie: Phantom in the Rain.”
In addition to her music, AiNA THE END has made a name for herself in acting. In 2022, she starred as Janis Joplin in the Japanese adaptation of the Broadway musical “A Night with Janis Joplin.” Her film debut came in October 2023 with the lead role in “Kyrie,” directed by Shunji Iwai. For this role, she won several awards, including Newcomer of the Year at the Japan Academy Awards and Best Newcomer at the Hochi Film Awards.
Her solo tour, Grow The Sunset, in March sold out on the first day of ticket sales. Also her upcoming performance at the Nippon Budokan, titled ENDROLL, on September 11, 2024, has sold out. Fans can look forward to her third solo album, her first full-length release in three years, which will come out on November 27.
