Alya Zurayya released her new single ‘Apa Kamu Pernah Sepertiku?’. This song is also her first single in 2023 and she wanted the song to feel very personal and special to her. ‘Apa Kamu Pernah Sepertiku?’ was born from Alya’s many questions to find a way out for what is happening in her life.
This song was written and composed by Alya herself, with some help from her colleagues. There are Hilmi Gantara, Yaqi and Bayu Baidlowi for the songwriting process, Khalishah Isyana helped Alya as the producer of this song. There are also several instruments: Guitar by Immanuel Novedo, Drums by Filipus Cahyadi, Mixing and Mastering by Fachry Nugroho.

Alya stated, “This song is the beginning of a human phase when many things collide and don’t go according to plan. This is the story of my journey looking for answers and realizing the importance of seeking happiness within oneself.”
Alya, who started her career from Youtube, has now released 5 singles. From other songs she wrote and released, this single became the first song where Alya really breaks down the details about the journey she took to get to know herself. This is why this song feels so close to Alya herself. Alya said that during the difficult phase she was facing, it was as if she had found a ‘restart’ button to start looking for happiness within herself again.
Alya hopes that this song can become a friend for those who are feeling in a bumpy phase in their lives because she feels that what she went through was also experienced by many people and so relatable. For people who are feeling heavy, Alya wants to remind them that they are not alone.
