Bingkai Karya-Bandung-based pop duo, Tadi, consisting of Fathan Garna and Adhi Handoyo, recently released their new song, “Cerita.” The song marks a new chapter in their musical journey after previous successes with singles like “Penasaran” and “Lost.”
“Cerita” is an ode to a genuine and thriving relationship. The song tells the story of how time strengthens the bond. Until it becomes a form of gratitude to a faithful partner. Through evocative lyrics and melodies, Tadi manages to capture the essence of deep and timeless love.
The process of making this song was very special. It started with Fathan initiating the songwriting, then assisted by Dony Manurung who refined it, and Adhi who added the finishing lyrics. Interestingly, most of the song was completed in just 3 hours, but the final refinement took much longer and required the involvement of many people.
The song “Cerita” has touches of various genres such as Acid Jazz, Disco, Funk, and R&B. This diversity makes it suitable for a variety of moods, whether it’s to start the day, exercise, or simply enjoy time with friends. With “Cerita,” Tadi hopes to continue to inspire and entertain their fans. This single itself is Tadi’s starting point in the Indonesian music industry with Isyana Sarasvati’s label, REDROSE Records.
